Bio: Zbigniew (Zibi) Kwecka is a PhD Research Student working in the Centre for Distributed Computing and Security, at Edinburgh Napier University. His main interests are Privacy Enchancing Technologies, Data Acquisition, Digital Forensic and Computer Networking. His PhD thesis are related to improvement of investigative data acquisition process, so that privacy of the suspects and the investigations is maitained.

The Centre for Distributed Computing and Security is one of the four reserch groups in the School of Computing at Napier University. The main areas that the group are involved with are:

Mobile Agents. This involve the usage of mobile agents to create the totally distributed systems, which do not rely on the traditional client-server technologies [Link].
Wireless Research. This involves investigating new applications of wireless technoloqy, especially in the routing between wireless domains.
Network Device Modelling. This involves creating networking emulator elements in Flash [Link] and in .NET [Link].
Advanced Security. This includes the investigations include user profiling for advanced security systems [Link], and also for agent-based security systems.
Mobile Devices. This involves using mobile devices, such as Pocket PC's, to allow communication between wireless domains.
Network Fault modeling. This involves the investigation of new methods which try and predict network faults, using agent-based systems [Link].
